Prairie songstress ROSE THORNE wrote dozens of songs of prairie life, hope, loneliness & love in the 1920’s, 30’s & 40’s. Her songs, long believed to be forever lost in a fire in 1950 ---a fire intentionally set--- were “discovered” last summer by Kenny Wollesen---a grandson she never knew!
